Hair Transplant
Implanter Pen Technique – DHI Hair Implantation
Implanter Pen Technique or DHI (Direct Hair Implantation) is to implant the hair follicles taken with FUE method to the skin by using the pen (Implanter). The method enables a more advanced, successful, painless and rapid recovery process in hair transplantation.
Hair follicles are transplanted one by one into the area to be planted with DHI technique. Each hair follicle is planted as the maximum living hair follicle with the DHI pen which was developed to enable implanting based on its specific angle, direction and depth. The planted hair will grow and dwell throughout the lifetime of the patient. The entire procedure is carried out by the physicians trained by DHI. In DHI Method, the hair follicles are removed one by one from the donor area and prepared as special pieces in 1mm or less. Follicles are maintained at the appropriate temperature and in special solutions without disintegration, cutting or touching. In the area where hair follicles are to be planted, 1 mm or less is planted directly with DHI pen technique without opening the holes and cuts. As a result of the application of depth, direction and angle in each graft, the patient regains the living hair follicles and growing hair throughout his life.

FUE Hair Transplant
Is performed by taking healthy hair follicles with a method called fue and by transferring them to hairless area. Fue method, which is a technique that has been implemented since 2004, is open to technological developments, and it continued to be improved as of the date when it was started to be implemented. In Fue technique, hair follicles are taken one by one from the back of the head, which is called as “donor area”, by means of micro motor tips of 0,7-1 mm, and they are transplanted to the region where hair is sparse. Each “follicle” removed from the “donor area” contains doublet and triplet hair cells and these units are called grafts. During the examination, your doctor will decide on how much graft each patient will need before the operation.

Sapphire FUE
Transplants are conducted using blades made from a precious gemstone called sapphire, instead of steel blades used in regular FUE transplants. This sapphire blade is especially useful for creating incisions within the recipient site. The blades are designed to minimize scab formation and speed up the recovery process through opening smaller micro channels within the recipient site for transplantation.

In FUE conducted with sapphire blades, after the patient is administered local anesthesia, hair follicles are extracted one by one from the donor area with the aid of a micro motor and micro punches in sizes of 0,6 – 0,7 – 0,8 mm.
